Step out of the station. Zero steps to go.
The exit opens, and the gym is already there.
Not many locations can claim that.

Access
A 1-minute walk feels generous. In practice, it’s closer to zero.
Exit the south gate, look up at the building ahead, and the sign is already visible.
An elevator ride to the second floor, and the door opens straight into the gym.

Interior and Facilities
A single floor. Lockers, showers, and toilets sit just inside the entrance on the left.
The landing outside the changing rooms is decorated with hanging origami — stars and leaves strung from the ceiling, no clear sign of who put them there. A strange kind of open space.

The training floor is arranged symmetrically around a central stretching area. Mats are self-serve.
Machines are mostly selectorized, with a handful of plate-loaded units. The brand is Life Fitness.
4 adjustable benches line up in two rows, front and back, like formations. The gap between rows runs a little tight, but the path to the dumbbells stays clear. A single flat bench sits quietly in a small space toward the back.
3 Smith machines and power racks round out the free weight area.
From some of the cardio machines, the trains pass close enough to watch. The Chuo Line becomes background noise for the workout.

Crowd Levels
A Sunday late morning visit came with expectations of crowds — Ogikubo, and this location, seemed to guarantee it.
Reality landed softer than expected, though the place still carried a lively hum.
The free weight zone isn’t spacious, but the machine layout keeps it from ever feeling cramped.
Neighborhood
Ogikubo is an easy town to walk through.
Head west and Kichijoji is within reach; step off the main road and a park appears.
Restaurants line the area, so finding something to eat after a workout is never a problem.
Overall
The strength of the location hits first — direct from the station, no detour required.
It’s the kind of place worth stopping at on the way to somewhere else.
Nothing flashy, but the layout does real work keeping the space from feeling small.
The origami-draped landing stays in memory longer than it probably should.
