Access

A 5-minute walk from Higashi-Tokorozawa Station on the JR Musashino Line. The gym is a standalone two-floor building in a quiet residential area. A short walk away is the Kadokawa Culture Museum — one of the more unusual landmarks near any gym on this pilgrimage. On the day of the visit, a cosplay event was taking place nearby, and the streets were filled with cosplayers. An unexpected backdrop for a workout.

Facilities & Atmosphere

A two-floor layout with the free weights area and machines on the 1st floor, and cardio machines and additional equipment on the 2nd floor. The structure is similar to the Hanno location, though with slightly less breathing room overall.

The 2nd floor feels a little tight due to how the machines are arranged — the spacing between equipment is narrower than ideal. That said, the gym was not crowded during the visit, so it didn’t cause any practical issues.

Smith/power rack stations: 3. Adjustable benches: 2. The setup is sufficient for a standard full-body session, though those looking to train at maximum intensity may find the options a little limited.

How Busy Does It Get?

Not particularly crowded. The residential location keeps traffic manageable. Equipment was available without waiting during the visit.

The Surrounding Area

Higashi-Tokorozawa is a calm, easy-to-live-in suburb. The Kadokawa Culture Museum adds a distinctive cultural layer to the neighborhood — worth a visit if you haven’t been. After the workout, a bowl of dan dan noodles at a nearby restaurant hit the spot. The numbing spice was exactly what was needed after training.

Overall

Not the most impressive gym on this pilgrimage. The equipment count is modest, and the 2nd floor feels cramped. No water server.

But it’s quiet. It’s clean. And the neighborhood has its own quiet charm — especially with the Kadokawa Museum nearby. For those already living in the area, this gym does the job.

The pilgrimage continues.
